 #  Com união e ações rápidas na citricultura, Paraná mantém combate ao greening 

A integração entre as diferentes esferas públicas, a iniciativa privada e o setor produtivo foi o destaque no "Seminário de Citricultura", realizado em 14/03 dentro da programação da Edição 53 da "ExpoParanavaí". O greening, também conhecido como HLB, é a praga mais severa da citricultura devido à rápida disseminação, danos profundos e dificuldades de controle. No evento, o Diretor de Defesa Agropecuária da Adapar, Renato Young Blood, destacou as parcerias do Estado no combate ao greening.

Ele salientou que, com esse trabalho conjunto, o Estado conseguiu erradicar aproximadamente um milhão e 500 mil plantas hospedeiras.

O evento também contou com a apresentação dos resultados da Câmara Técnica de Citricultura, da Secretaria da Agricultura. Ela é composta por representantes titulares de órgãos e instituições do setor, além de entidades do setor produtivo, como o Sistema Ocepar (Organização das Cooperativas do Paraná).
