 #  Já está em vigor lei que garante aposentadoria especial a integrante de cooperativa rural 

Entrou em vigor a lei que garante a condição de segurado especial da Previdência Social a trabalhadores e pequenos produtores rurais associados a cooperativas, que podem ser agrícolas, de produtores ou de produção. Com isso, essas categorias terão direito à aposentadoria rural, concedida ao trabalhador que exerce sua atividade majoritariamente no campo. A norma só não vale para associados a cooperativas de trabalho.

Como explica o deputado Pedro Westphalen (RS), atualmente a legislação assegura a condição de segurado especial somente para integrantes de cooperativas de crédito rural.

A lei nasceu de um projeto do Senado de 2007 que foi aprovado na Câmara no final de dezembro do ano passado.
